  11. I am very interested in computers and have good knowledge of how they work.  I would like to get a summer job working in the 
  12. computer  industry somehow and most of the jobs require C++ or Basic programming language knowledge.  I am willing to learn 
  13. these languages on my own if need be, but would like to know if anybody could suggest some good books or areas on the net that 
  14. are for beginners.  Your help is greatly appreciated.
